Fire razes government offices in Mulanay, Quezon

A fire broke out early Saturday and razed some government offices in Mulanay, Quezon.
Mulanay Councilor Gelo Telada Amisola posted photos on Facebook of what remained of the building housing the public information office (PIO) on Saturday morning.
In a radio interview, Amisola said the fire started at around 1:30 a.m.
A witness said the fire started at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office, he added.
Aside from the PIO and Comelec, the fire also affected the offices of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), water system, human resources department, and culture and the arts, the municipal councilor said.
No one was injured, Amisola said.
The Bureau of Fire Protection was able to put the fire under control. —KG, GMA Integrated News
