Worldwide coronavirus cases reach 37.29M; Philippines is 18th in Reuters tally

More than 37.29 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 1,073,263 have died, according to a Reuters tally.
Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The US leads with 7,691,846 cases and 213,778 deaths.

It was followed by:

  • India: 7,053,806 cases and 108,334 deaths
  • Brazil: 5,082,637 cases and 150,198 deaths
  • Russia: 1,298,718 cases and 22,597 deaths
  • Colombia: 902,747 cases and 27,660 deaths
