The number of cops positive of COVID19 now reaches 77

The number of policemen who tested positive of the novel coronavirus has reached 77, the head of the Philippine National Police said Wednesday.

The tally as of Tuesday included 12 policemen who have recovered and 3 fatalities who had other health complications like diabetes, hypertension and heart problems, said PNP Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa.

The PNP is preparing quarantine sites at its headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City for officers who are asymptomatic or will develop mild symptoms of the respiratory disease, he said.
