MRT-3, LRT-2 offer free rides to women on March 8

The Department of Transportation Philippines (DOTr) has announced that MRT-3 (Metro Rail Transit-3) and LRT-2 (Light Rail Transit-2) will be offering free rides to women on Monday, March 8 to celebrate International Women’s Day.advertisement
According to DOTr, both MRT-3 and LRT-2 will be offering free rides on the following time slots on Monday:
- 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
According to DOTr, this is their way of joining the celebration of National Women’s Month.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, LRT-2 offers FREE RIDE for women passengers boarding the LRT-2 trains on Monday, March 8, 2021, during the peak hours indicated below.
