Manila livelihood program to produce face masks, PPEs

Manila City Hall employees arrange sewing machines at the Universidad de Manila on Saturday for the production of face masks under a livelihood program. A total of 100 tailors and seamstresses are set to start production of face masks and personal protective equipment on Monday, as part of the local government’s efforts to provide livelihood to residents while boosting the country’s supplies of protective gear against the coronavirus disease.
