Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 28) – After implementing a big-time rollback last week, oil firms announced on Monday they will be raising fuel rates.
Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Total said in separate advisories that they will increase per-liter prices of gasoline by ₱3.40 and diesel by ₱8.65 beginning 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
Seaoil also announced a ₱9.40 per liter increase for kerosene.
The upward adjustment comes after the first and only time fuel companies slashed prices so far this year on March 22.
