Another House employee falls ill with COVID-19

MANILA – Another personnel of the House of Representatives has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales announced on Saturday. 

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases at the House to 12. 

“We were advised that a member of our security staff assigned at the office and barracks of our Legislative Security Bureau has tested positive for COVID-19,” said Montales. 
 
Montales said the security staff last reported for work on July 6 and is now under home quarantine. 

“Contact tracing is ongoing. Let’s remain calm; keep safe,” he said.
