The earthquake struck at 11:28 a.m. and had a depth of 349 miles about 26 miles east northeast of Ndoi Island, Fiji.

There is no tsunami threat to Hawaii after a magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck near Fiji Sunday morning, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
