Davao River now under Orange Warning

Davao River now under Orange Warning-meaning all residents in areas along the river and flood-prone areas must conduct preemptive evacuation as soon as possible. Barangay Callawa is already under Orange Warning. All residents of areas along the river and flood-prone areas are forced to evacuate.

Bunawan River now under Orange Level or Warning Level. All residents of areas along the river and flood-prone areas must conduct preemptive evacuation.

Tamugan River is now under Red Level or Critical. All residents of areas along the river and flood-prone areas are assisted or forced to evacuate.

Tamugan River is connected to the Davao River.

 

As of 10:25 pm today, the Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office - Operations Center has alerted all barangays situated along the Lipadas River to closely monitor and preposition personnel for quick response to possible flooding and evacuation.

Meanwhile, Tamugan has been placed under Yellow Warning or Alert Level.

Residents of flood-prone areas in Barangays Bunawan, Maa, Mandug, and Callawa have been told to conduct forced evacuation.
