Impacts: Possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms

Taal Volcano’s seismic network recorded twenty-nine (29) volcanic earthquakes during the past 24 hours. Field measurements conducted on February 5, 2015 at the eastern sector of the Main Crater Lake recorded a decrease in water temperature from 29.8 to 29.4, a decrease in water level from 0.83 to 0.77 meter, and an increase in acidity from pH 3.10 to pH 3.08. Ground deformation measurements through precise leveling surveys on November 19 - 30, 2014 indicated slight inflation of the edifice compared to June 2014.
