Southwest Monsoon  affecting the western section of Luzon.   Meanwhile, at  3:00 AM today, the eye  of  Typhoon  SOULIK  was located based on all available data at  1,670 km  East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon  (25.6 °N, 137.3 °E)[OUTSIDE PAR] with maximum sustained winds of 150 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to  185 km/h. Moving West Northwest  20km/h.

LOCATION OF THE CENTER (3AM TODAY): 2,965  KM EAST OF LUZON  (16.8 °N, 149.6 °E)[OUTSIDE PAR]
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS:   90  KM/H NEAR THE CENTER
GUSTINESS: UP TO 115 KM/H
MOVEMENT: NORTHWEST  AT 20 KM/H

West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. on Friday lifted the rotational services interruptions as turbidity in the raw water from Ipo Dam has decreased. "As of 11 p.m. yesterday, August 16, turbidity or concentration of sediments in the raw water from Ipo Dam has decreased to manageable levels," Maynilad said in an advisory.
