Light to moderate rain expected over Luzon, Visayas areas

Weather service PAGASA reported in a Wednesday morning forecast that a low-pressure area (LPA) was 100 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte a 3 a.m. The LPA's trough would bring cloudy conditions with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorm over the Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region. The Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Regions, as well as the Batanes and Babuyan Islands, would also be cloudy with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms, but this time due to the southwest monsoon.

The LPA's trough would bring cloudy conditions with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorm over the Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region.

The Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Regions, as well as the Batanes and Babuyan Islands, would also be cloudy with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms, but this time due to the southwest monsoon.

The rest of  the country would meanwhile be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the southwest over Luzon, where coastal waters would be from moderate to rough.

Over the rest of the country, winds would be light to moderate from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
