No Filipino casualty in Albania quake – DFA

There were no Filipino casualties in the 6.4 earthquake that struck Albania on November 26, 2019, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported.

The DFA, in its advisory, also reported that no Filipino was injured from the quake.

The DFA said it is continuously gathering information on the incident from the Philippine Embassy in Rome, the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Tirana, and the Filipino community leaders in Albania.

Tirana, the capital of Albania, was struck by a 6.4 earthquake on Tuesday that left six persons dead and some 150 injured.

Albanian seismologist Rrapo Ormeni said the Wednesday tremor was the strongest earthquake to hit the country since 1926.
